My wife stayed here for two weeks while I was in the hospital. The reception staff were nice and friendly. Some of the floors were noisy with mothers walking with crying babies. For the price of the rooms a kettle and coffee would have been nice. Rooms not kept very clean. Expensive for what it was.

Even though I stayed in this hotel, only for one day, but this was an excellent experience. Clean hotel with nice surroundings. Food quality was excellent with variety and I enjoyed a lot in my stay in this hotel.

Yes, this hotel is part of a hospital. But once you get over the novelty of that, it is a perfectly serviceable place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious - lots of options including cold and hot offerings.

It's about a 40-minute brisk walk to the center (City Hall area - downhill on the way to the center; uphill on the way back so more like 50 minutes), or there are several tram or bus stops within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. The area of the hotel is green and quiet.

The hotel is located inside Oslo hospital grounds, just a couple of buss rides from Oslo centre. Not the most centralised hotel but there is a 20buss departing just outside the gate going to Majorstua (for the subway) or the tram just a block to the right for the city.

Being a hospital hotel you would expect the hotel to be good and clean, with positive service minded personnel to attend a fair bit of hospital related customers. But this is not the fact.

Cleanliness was bad, bot room and bathroom was poorly cleaned, and we had to go get clean sheets ourselves on the 4th night. (Stayed with a baby)

Cafeteria was disappointing with just ok good to restaurant prices. Eating hours which was so tight so it was hard to both make it before they closed and to even sit down before you are asked to leave.
And if that wasn't enough, they changed the hours for lunch mid week without letting the guest know, and when asking the reception we were told it was not their problem and told to go buy food in their kiosk (which is even more overpriced) even though we have already paid for lunch with the room.

Horribly rude personnel in the reception which clearly didn't prioritise customer service or helping you out except from taking your payment.

Nice, quiet, hotel with small rooms right on Ullevål Hospital grounds. The proximity to hospital patients is a key consideration, however, their breakfast buffet is excellent. All you need is readily available at no additional cost. That is, the rooms come with breakfast included. If alcoholic beverages are required after a long day at the hospital, they are sold from the front desk until 1 am. Good selection of beers. The wines were box wines. They also have a nice collection of convenience toiletries and foods available.

Room Tip: If you get a room facing east, you may get to see a beautiful sunrise and the room offers a view of a peaceful cemetery.
