We arrived into Vienna by train, and took a 10 minute taxi ride to the hotel. As the hotel is located on a pedestrian square the taxi dropped us around the corner, a 2-3 minute walk.
We were checked in by a very courteous gentleman, who supplied us with maps of the city, and informed us about the complimentary mini bar in our premier room.
Upon entry the room was a good size, and decorated beautifully. The room included a Nespresso machine, and a mini bar stocked with Coke, water, Pringles and a beer. The bathroom was also very large with a lovely modern rainfall shower. Unfortunately we did experience an issue with the bathroom (see attached photo’s), the window was only partially frosted, and due to the location of the toilet in the bathroom, the apartments across the street got a great view when we did our ablutions. I did go to reception to complain and to get some scotch tape to stick the helpful maps provided on the windows to preserve our modesty. My complaint was met with empathy, and within two days the windows had been frosted ( see photos). I must commend and thank the hotel for taking such swift action.
The rest of our stay here was faultless. We very much enjoyed the excellent location, which meant that getting around the city was easy, either on foot, metro or tram.
We decided not to take the €20 per person breakfast, and found many more reasonable options close by.
All in all, a very good hotel and one I would definitely stay in again.
