The gorgeous flat is surrounded by farmers' markets, outdoor cafes, and art studios. Nice skyline of stately old buildings, a bit Parisian. Great pizza place on the corner, after you walk past the boulevard of outdoor cafes.
Inside, the flat is sophisticated and cozy and is actually larger than it seems in the photos. Amazing hardwood floors, very comfortable bed. The play of light from the two lamps on the wall is truly stunning, as is the sunlight filtered through the decorative window shutters. Wonderful ambience, modern bathroom and kitchen, everything new and conscientiously put together. Very cute dining table.
Trams are clean, punctual - excellent service to underground and airport train/ bus.
The owner Harald went above and beyond - he stayed in touch via email until we arrived, then texted us once we landed to guide us to the flat. Very friendly and professional, he asked us what we wanted to see in the city, showed us the best ways to get there on the map, and gave us information for the door lock, the excellent wifi, etc.
Would highly recommend. Amazing value, especially with a 3-day tram card - all transportation within the city covered; trams, the underground, buses. Also recommend renting bikes and cycling the Danube Trail - just 3 hours' ride into Bratislava!
A much more authentic Vienna experience than you will find in the city center or in hotels.
