Honestly go and treat yourself to some great home style Indian food. The place has been open for 27 years so you know it’s good.

I am a student studying at Innsbruck University and I had a friend come and visit me from England. We're both curry lovers so wanted to find a good indian place to eat at. My flatmates recommended Sahib, although they had only ever ordered takeout.

The place itself has a great atmosphere: cosy and traditional. The staff were very sweet and attentive and service was quick. That being said, we were the only two in there!

We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and it was made even better by the fact that we were given free poppadoms with sauces as a hors d'oeuvres.

The prices were fair, not expensive but not a steal. However, I believe you got better than what you paid for.

We were in a group from uk, Excellent food, cannot fault, but service could be improved. Excellent real indian food. Decor and interior was just ok, nothing great. Would go back if in Innsbruck again.

We always enjoy eating Indian food so when we came upon Sahib we thought we'd give it a try. The ambience was lovely - beautiful, authentic decor and music. We received a warm welcome and the friendliness continued throughout the service. Excellent food, all rounded off with a perfect cup of Indian tea!

As we struggled to find restaurants near our hotel we chose to eat at Sahib as this didn't require any advanced booking. Too much waiting to get a seat despite few tables being empty. Looks like a family run hotel with not many staff. Service wasn't great. Not family friendly if you are travelling with little ones who need a high chair. Food was ok-ish but the butter naan is a must try. Plates and cutlery was not clean at all which made us wonder how hygienic the food was. There were no tissues on our table so we had to take from other tables. Staff are definitely not rude and trying to help but just couldn't cope up with the demand at peak time. Definitely a room for improvement there and it could do a lot better. Owner was very welcoming and friendly.
