As regular visitors to Coral Bay we have stayed in many villa's - including James Villas but have to say that Sisouela Villas top them all!
We (family of 4) stayed in Kirki, a 3 bed bungalow (all en-suite) and the location was just perfect - very private with the most amazing views. Only takes max of 15 minutes to walk into Coral Bay - I have stayed in villas that take that amount of time but you don't have the privacy you get up at Sisoulea. The villas are owned by Simos and his family who also stay local and are around if you ever require any assistance. We had a late arrival and Simos arranged for water and any other shopping to be in for us.
Would not hesitate to recommend - Simos, my friend, we will be back and thanks for the bottle of your very own olive oil.
We stayed in a three bedroom villa (Villa Kirki) which was absolutely perfect! The bedrooms are massive and all had en-suites and air con (at a small charge but totally worth it in the June heat!). The kitchen was fully equipped and very large and there are several options for eating meals with a dining room table, a table on the terrace or another table and chairs in the pool area! There was also a spacious front room with sofas and a television.
The pool area was beautiful with a large pool, plenty of space, sun loungers, brollies and we had lovely views of the sea. The small garden area near the pool was well kept and had lots of flowers.
My grandparents stayed in a two bedroom villa next door to ours, which was equally as lovely as the one we stayed in.
The strip of bars and restaurants in Coral Bay is only a short walk away and it fairly cheap for food and drinks with a chilled out family friendly atmosphere.
There is plenty to see and do nearby if you rent a car. The villas are only about 25 minute drive from the airport and there is plenty of parking space at the villa for a couple of cars if needed.
My parents come to these villas every year and we can see why! We can't wait to go back another year :-)
Firstly, a big thank to Simos and his family for making us very welcome. We have visited Cyprus many times, but this is our first time in Simos Villas. For those who have mobility issues, Simos has two villas with facilities on one level, excepting the access step - there are no steps from the villa to the patio and swimming pool. On the downside there is no equipment to help disabled people into the pool, not an issue for us in February. Both bedrooms are en-suite with walk-in showers - showers are always an issue for us, but not here.
You will need a car as the drive is quite steep and the main road is quite busy, not a road I want to negotiate pushing a wheelchair, that said you could hire an electric scooter.
We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at this villa. The host was welcoming on arrival, showed us around and provided his contact details should we need anything. The villa had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean with a beautiful outside space for relaxing and eating. The villas are in a small complex but the planting is such that
you are in a completely private and quiet area all of your own. There are several excellent tavernas and a large supermarket close by and I would recommend hiring a car for ease although these are walkable and the supermarket offers a delivery service! We will certainly be returning to this villa next summer so I think that speaks volumes about how good we thought it was!
