The whole family had dinner at Lysiotiki Souvla Pais last night. They offer a variety of dishes but, in our opinion, their hallmark is the wine-marinated souvla; they are famous for it and naturally we ordered three dishes. Yet again, Lysiotiki Souvla Pais lived up to and enhanced their reputation!
What is more important is that we have been customers of theirs since 1987 and are happy to report that they maintain their standards. We rate their wine-marinated souvla as the best in town. Besides, the dishes were huge in quantity and very well presented.
The dining room was clean, comfortable and decorated in a restrained Cypriot traditional way.
The staff were very pleasant and courteous and service was first class. There was plenty of car park space on an open plot of land opposite Lysiotiki Souvla Pais.
Prices were very logical, giving excellent value-for-money.
And a word of caution! On busy days like, say, Sunday lunchtime, one is well advised to book one’s table several days in advance to avoid disappointment; booking a table is a simple and hassle-free process.
We recommend Lisiotiki Souvla Pais unreservedly and will definitely call again!
