A great place to stay. Superb location. Charming, very well-equipped house. Ease of communication with owner. One minor warning - the bedrooms are very small. But that hardly detracts from overall pleasure of staying here. We had two grandsons, aged 12 and 9, with us, and we were all happy.
We stayed here for a week and it was great. The house is so well located to explore Reykjavik on foot and to access the many tours. The house was a real 'home from home' with a great selection of books to read, DVDs to watch and a range of maps and leaflets about local attractions. There was also some wet weather clothes and binoculars for our use. It was a really warm house and lovely to relax in after a busy day exploring Iceland. The Internet access meant we could keep in touch with the outside world too. We even saw the Northern Lights from the front garden. We would certainly stay here again.

Lovely house in a fantastic location. Great kitchen with everything you could need. Nice touches like tea, coffee, herbs and spices plus lots more which make it so much easier to self cater. Worked really well for us as a family with two teenagers - they had a room each and plenty of space for us all. Lots of DVD's plus TV and wifi kept everyone happy! Location is excellent, you wouldn't need a car as is in town and all tours depart within walking distance.
We really enjoyed the home from home feel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
