This little underground museum showed us relevant and interesting parts of local history. The story of Matti was fun to follow and we also enjoyed the interactive parts. The art part was poor and felt very unrelated.

Three main floors. Nice cafe, terrace and museum shop in airy lobby area. Interesting underground cellars with medieval and old Turku city history theme. I recommend to visit. Tasty brunch during weekends at 11-15 o'clock.

I liked the modern art exhibition better, my friend liked the archeological one more. So, there's something for everybody. We also saw lots of interactive stuff for the little ones.
Price was reasonable (7 euro - student) and the museum as a whole had a very good concept.

We saw the underground excavations - quite interesting to see the original houses and the development since.
