When winter is coming, here's the best place in Malmö to swim nude in the sea in ice cold water, and later on go back inside to heat up at the saunas. Excellent

Some hundred meters out from the long beach, with many kilometers of sand, a century old sea bath from 1898 is well worth a visit - at all times of the year. In the summers the tree deck often is crowded with sunbathers.

From the saunas, some with wood stoves, the view over the water is as could be expected: magnificent.

Sexes are separated, swimming and bathing is done naked, but reunion with your loved one may be done out at sea, where there uses to be a small platform - at least in the summers.

So we had both lunch, massage and an hour or so in the bath.
Do bring your own padlock if you want to lock your stuff away. I carried my bag around inside and that was fine, but if you don't want that bring a padlock.

Food: A few vegetarian alternatives. Nothing too fancy as I tend to dislike anything made with soy. It feels uninspired. The food was in no way bad though. For being soy-based. Wonderful outdoor seating with view in towards the beach of Malmö.

Massage was great. The massager was calm and spoke through most of the treatment to make sure nothing was overlooked or hurt. Real professional. The entry to the bath was included with the massage fee.

The baths where great but for one thing, they were split into a male and female section. This wouldn't have bothered me unless for the fact that I was there with my wife and we'd hoped to hang out more. There was one sauna that was mixed and also a small raft a bit out in the ocean where we could meet up. That required a bit of a swim though and seated only a few people.
Would have liked for a bigger part of the baths to be open to all genders.

We spent three hours here - an hour in nude bathing and sun worshipping and two hours sheltering from a thunder and lightning storm and heavy rain. It was great - very peaceful and the Greek salad that we shared for lunch was more than enough for two people. This was my favourite place in Malmo!

I thoroughly enjoy visiting bathhouses around the world. Hands down, my favorite bathhouses are in Korea due to the large number of pools, saunas, and scrubs. Therefore, the Swedish bathhouse was not as relaxing as I would've liked, but it was fun to experience. It cost 65.00 Swedish Kroner per person. You can rent a towel, but just bring your own beach towel and towel to shower. You will get completely naked and lay out in the sun around the decks of the ocean water. You go into the saunas to get nice and hot, then cool off in the ocean, which is Freezing, then you lounge on the decks, sunbathing. It was nice, but if the sun wasn't out, I would have been really cold laying on the decks in the buff. There are no hot tubs. Just the ocean and the saunas. It was relaxing and very beautiful being out there. If you want an authentic Swedish bathhouse experience, definitely go. I would love to check this out in the wintertime. My friend said that there is ice on the ocean and you have to crack the ice in order to take a quick dip. I just couldn't imagine how freezing that would be!

To get to the Ribersborg Kallbadhus, you can take the bus and it drops you right in front of the bath. I picked up the bus near the train station and can't remember the number of the bus. The only downside is that you can't pay for the bus with cash. I didn't know that when I got on, and the bus driver was very nice and said she would take me to the bathhouse since it was only 3 stops down. If you have a bike, you can easily get from downtown Malmo to the bathhouse in 15 minutes.
