This was our fourth visit to Almanak and we still think it's wonderful. Our starter was a slightly fermented scallop dish that was cooked to perfection. The main course (pork) was also perfectly cooked and so tender it almost melted in your mouth. The chocolate dessert was fantastic -- not as sugary as most desserts, so the other flavours of nuts and berries were evident. The service was slow to start, but after we ordered, was very good. The wine suggestions were perfect, and the two sommeliers were very knowledgable. We will be back!
