Owner description: Copenhagen's Nyhaven, or "New Harbor," is actually steeped in a long heritage. Colorful buildings line the canal and hint at a history of small-vessel traffic. Like many ports, this strip has a salty history, rich with sailors, drinking and literary exploits. Danish author Hans Christian Andersen made his home in Nyhavn as well. It's cleaned up now and is a lovely place for a stroll.

A beautiful part of Copenhagen to just drift and wander. A nice range of places to eat and drink. Well worth a visit.

Lovely, buzzy area. Great restaurants and lovely to sit in the sun. Worth a wander and try the herrings on offer at many restaurants.

The Nyhavn is a great place to go. A must see and main attraction of Copenhagen! It is so full of colours here because the houses are painted in different colours. Amazing ! I recommend a canal-boat tour.

this place is "the image" of Copenhagen so is a must view. Is a lovely place to hang out and get the feeling of the city, with the colourful houses, the water and very lively with lots of restaurants and bars.

This is only a part of Copenhagen,, for us it was like everything else,, nothing special ,, but we liked it so much. It looks like Willemstad in Curacao, it is the colours of the houses.
