The location of the hotel is ideal for those wishing to wander the streets and restaurants of Corfu old town , which in itself is a revelation . The hotel has many more pros than cons , such as an exceptional breakfast buffet available until 11am , perfect for night owls . So much to choose from , yoghurt , fruit , good cereals and muesli , cold meats , eggs , cheese , toast , honeys and jam , even butter , an essential for Brit abroad !
The reception hall has an incredible tiled floor with a small lift for easy access to rooms , our rooms was cavernous but don't expect the luxury of a British boutique hotel , rustic and functional is probably the best description . The bathroom needed repair and attention as highlighted in a photo , but the water was gloriously warm and no need for using the cursed bin next to the loo ! The king sized bed was rock hard but that seems the norm in Greek owned hotels . Due to the location and breakfast and the warmly friendly reception staff we would definitely return . Be careful of taxi fares to get to the hotel , from the airport or port should be anything between 10/15 Euro .
