“Rude and Poor Customer Service”
Review of Deli Art - CLOSED

Deli Art
Reviewed 12 November 2015

I was so disappointed by the way we were treated at Deli Art. It was raining buckets and we were wandering the streets of Fira, shopping for gifts to take home. The gentleman (possibly owner of this shop) was rude and unwelcoming. He demanded to know what we were looking for, and said if you don't want to buy it, don't try it. Standing nearby us and following us through the store until we left. We took our shopping elsewhere and found a more welcoming place to spend our money. This is the only place in our tour of Greece where we felt unwelcome. Avoid this shop if you can.

This is a great place with high end Greek products. It has a big collection of olive oils, wines and other products from all over Greece. I went to buy ultra premium olive oil and I found allio olive oil very nice and tasteful. The owner was very kind and knowledgeable about olive oil. This is the place to buy gourmet gift in santorini.

My girlfriend and I went to DeliArt to buy some high end products as souvenires (and presents for ourselves) from our travels in the Greek Islands. We got some wonderful olive oil, honey, and sea salt. Their liquor selection also looked wonderful, but, because we were shipping our products home, we couldn't buy any alcohol.

The staff at DeliArt was intelligent and helpful, if also, at times, intimidating. The price is high, but it's commensurate with the quality of the products. And the option to ship your gifts is really nice when you're trying to travel light. All of our products---including those that came in glass bottles---made it without a hitch, so Kudos to the DeliArt staff for some nice packing.
