Best day ever! We booked a private sail day as an excursion from our cruise boat Sun Princess. This was the perfect day. The sailboat is right next to the port and it was easy to get there. Niko took amazing care of us and everyone in the family agrees this was their favorite activity of the entire trip. Niko was diligent about getting us back to our ship in time. Ultimately we loved our day in Crete so much we’ve discussed coming for an extended stay.

We had the most amazing sailing experience! The calm waters, tasty lunch, and swim were truly memorable. The crew made it special with their friendly care. It was a much-needed break from our routine. We will definitely do it again!

We booked 'Sail in Chania' as part of a girls trip and had the most magical time on the Sunset Cruise. From the getgo, Nikos' communication and quick replies made it easy to make our reservation and accommodate our timings.
On arrival we received a warm welcome from Nikos and Semeli - as well as some traditional Greek sweet treats! The cruise was absolutely stunning, and Nikos' hospitality made us feel very safe and relaxed. Not only was the sailing beautiful, but also the delicious homemade Greak lunch, which we inhaled after making a pitstop for some swimming!
The experience was worth every penny and I cannot recommend 'Sail in Chania' enough to anyone that is looking for a good value sailing day when visiting Chania - I would definitely do it again!
Thank you to Nikos and Semeli for a very memorable day out 🥰

Words can’t describe what a perfect day we had sailing with Nikos on the deep blue of the Mediterranean before stopping in the most glorious cove with crystal clear blue water. Nikos was funny and kind and told us some incredible stories and shared his love of sailing with us throughout the day. It was infectious.
While we’ve had many adventures in Crete, I can’t imagine that this won’t be the highlight of our trip. With the perfectly planned lunch of Cretan foods with raki, wine, and feta, the kindness he and his crew showed will not be forgotten.
The seas were smooth, the views were perfection and the company was perfect. It is truly a perfect way to see parts of Chania that you wouldn’t expect to visit and to learn about its people and their love of the ocean.
It was so wonderful, we tried to book another day!
Go. You won’t regret it. Efcharistó!
