Villa Meliti is nothing but AMAZING!
The moment we arrived this villa felt like a featured home in a luxury property magazine, cool, sexy, attention to every little detail and architecture that allows you to keep exploring every little room and space. Overall the villa is made up of 4 very generous sized and appointed bedrooms (2 main bedrooms), each with its own aspect of the courtyards or rooftop balcony. The living room was spacious and had a New York loft style with also a decent sized plunge pool which was the center piece and great for cooling off in the summer heat. The open kitchen with all the modcons and 7 flat-screen tvs throughout the entire villa made it very comfortable for longer stays. If you ever leave the villa (you could stay there the whole time) it is set in Kerimikos one of Athens most trendy up and coming neighborhoods packed with local cafes, restaurants and just 15 min walk to the Acropolis and center of Athens.
This is what it would feel like if you were rich, famous and lived in Athens - I will be back!
I am so greatfull for chosing this villa for my holiday. It was a fabulous experience and an ammazing place to stay. Anna and Nantia were friends more than just a host, and always make sure that our stay was comfortable. The villa is spacious, the rooms and kitchen very clean and neat, also with free internet access and cable tv. The overall experience was really great and we enjoyed our stay.
Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights. This apartment is very modern in some ways but not very functional in other ways.
Pros: 4 spacious bedrooms, each with its own flat screen TV. Modern kitchen with washing machine and espresso machine. Wifi worked well.
Cons: only one wall shower located downstairs with third and fourth bedrooms. Master bath is shared with second bedroom and has tub only. Hand held shower has no wall stand or bathtub stand so it requires holding at all times. Bathtub has no faucet and must be filled thru the handheld shower head. Pool is unheated and was too cold to use since it has no access to sunlight.
Bad location. At least two taxi drivers could not find this place. If it weren't for Uber, which we were able to call on the Uber app, we would've had a very difficult time getting around Athens.
