I was unfortunate to stay in this resort in Aug which was the monsoon season for Phuket. It rained everyday and we were stuck in the resort with hundreds if not a thousand mainland Chinese tourist. For all I know they may be less than 90 of them but their combined voices made it seems there were at least a million of them about. The food there is basic and although we could get a drink at the pool bar, the waiter would always seemed to be missing in action

Very warm staff. The rooms near pool are a bit old-fashioned. We were allowed to change to a more modern room but always requires shuttle bus to travel between lobby (pool) and the room. However, we were glad to have a nicer room. The breakfast was not so impressive but dinner was quite good. It was a special area where shops/restaurant were not open. Lucky the food in hotel was good.

Rooms smelt damp and stale. Beds like concrete and restaurant was totally disgusting - inedible food. Staff were nice enough but obviously were use to complaints. The property was far away from everything thus you fell towards the diabolical restaurant as you had no other option.

We arrived at the Boat Lagoon for a stop off night on rout to Phi Phi from Naiyang Beech, first impressions for me were good it wasn't un till we were shown to our Double room to find it was a twin so we had to push the beds together, there was a machine to boil water but no tea or coffee, and no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, we dined at there restaurant and the food was inedible! We ordered 3 steaks and what arrived was unknown! We think they had substituted Beef with something else? But was almost certainly not beef? Inedible ANIMAL?? I think not eaten in the western world!?? Never again!!

The buildings are currently being renovated. Tho we had a very nice and spacious room, the construction noise was disturbing us. Also at the swimming pool, people were mowing the lawn all afternoon. Staff is unfriendly and sometimes just rude or ignoring tourists. I would not recommend staying here at all. Location is disappointing too as all activities are very far from the hotel area.
