The owner, Gordon was very helpful and answered questions promptly. The villa itself was lovely, great location, close to all the amenities.
The beach was beautiful and is a two minute stroll from the villa.
Great location for families as it has everything you need in Jolly Beach including a pharmacy.
Helpful tip - If you need baby milk (powdered) for the return flight home we found that the pharmacy stocked this, you need to buy it before leaving as the Antigua airport doesn't sell it.
We hope to return.
Lovely, spacious, clean and well equipped house - better in real life than in photos. Particularly appreciated the very effective air con as weather was hot hot hot!
Jolly harbour is a lovely resort and the villa is in the best location. Owner and management company both very responsive to queries and acted promptly to help with (minor) problems we had.
I am already missing the beautiful Jolly Beach and wonderful Antigua
This villa had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the appliances, pots, pans and utensils you could ever need. The living room is very comfortable with extra space on the deck for relaxing and outdoor dining. There is a downstairs toilet with the added bonus of a washing machine. Upstairs two generous sized bedrooms both ensuite, plenty of wardrobe space and hangers and a safe. We only used the double room and found the bed to be very comfortable. The air conditioning was very welcome. During our 12 night stay the villa was cleaned and the sheets & towels changed 4 times.
The key was collected from HBK villa rentals office and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The day before we were due to leave we asked for a later checkout as we had an evening flight. After checking that the next people would not be arriving until the following day, it was no trouble at all, the only stipulation was to return the key before the office closed at 6pm.
Just a two minute walk to the beach and Castaways Beach Bar. There is a very good supermarket onsite and a number of restaurants, as well as banks, pharmacy, car hire etc. The site security is very good, with two checkpoints for vehicles entering & leaving 24 hours a day. The area was "fogged" one evening to keep the mosquitoes down, but I would recommend the first thing you buy from the supermarket if "Off" and cover yourself in it each evening to avoid getting bitten.
We had a car for the duration which we collected on arrival at the airport and visited a different beach each day, experiencing as much of the island as possible, & we always felt safe. May is a very quiet month and most of the properties on Jolly Harbour were empty, as were the beaches which suited us fine. We did not have to book for any of the restaurants.
I did a lot of research of properties online and am so pleased I chose this villa. We had a wonderful holiday with a very comfortable and convenient base at a very reasonable price.

Really nice villa and worth the money for a two week break but we did have trouble with the water for 5 days. We could not shower as the water smelled which ruined our experience. We also had to call reception twice as the maid did not turn up on the allocated days. James Richards who is the manager did his best to help us in this difficult situation and put us up in a hotel where we could shower. This was well appreciated but an inconvenience for us. Can't fault the villa though it is really nice.
