Stayed here for one night as we had a Christmas party round the corner at a lovely restaurant called Olivia's.

The room was very clean, smelt nice and modern!
The room was very large for such a petite looking hotel!
The staff were very helpful and polite and spoke reasonably good English.

The room had a TV with some English channels and a fridge.
We requested a bottle of champagne on arrival which came 5 mins after we were allocated our room. It was lovely and came with an ice bucket. ( price was reasonable)

We had breakfast included but heard about their deal that if you pay an extra 3 euros you can have a full English. Which we did and was very very nice.

Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel!!!

Booked Hotel Carmen based on the reviews here. Stayed for 7 nights and could fault nothing at all. The room (number 302) was excellent. Lovely terrace with a sea view and plenty room to sit and enjoy the sun! Probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms we have has the pleasure of staying in with daily maid service. Fresh decoration throughout the hotel. No hair dryer but one available from reception for the duration of our stay and it was a real hair dryer!!! Breakfast was simple but enough for us. You can pay a bit extra for more but 'extra' is only €1 therefore still good value.
The guys at reception were so helpful and polite as were the staff in the cafe serving breakfast. Great friendly hotel will definately go back. Less than 5 minute walk to the magnificent beach and loads of restaurants within walking distance.

We booked Hotel Carmen as a one night stop over to Malaga airport which is only 30 mins away.
Very clean and modern and affordable compact hotel , has a upmarket Premier Inn feel , at a very reasonable price.
Quite near main roads which is normal for this area .
No issues , I would rate 4.5 -5 based on value for money .
Nice staff

We didn't manage to get to our hoped destination, here! It has to be the best situated Hotel in La Cala de Mijas. Almost next door to the apartment of our dreams, also denied us. Bang on the High Street, it's a case of, fall out of bed, onto a lovely restaurant filled street, that years ago, was the main Cadiz Road. Brilliant beach, fantastic location, all round. Even better was the obliging way they accepted our necessary cancelation, without hesitation. Well done and wishing this very new business, lots of luck!

Room tip: Ask the friendly staff, they even have a wheelchair accessible room, Great!
