Spent two nights in this lovely small hotel. Our room was extremely spacious. We had an ultra comfortable king bed, a lovely bathroom with jacuzzi, and a balcony with chairs and table and two loungers. The staff was helpful, the breakfast was good, there is free parking and good wifi. The hotel is on the upper reaches of rua Santa Caterina, past the point where it is pedestrianized, a five minute walk from Marques metro. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from the heart of downtown to the hotel. The area is a bit deserted, but starting to gentrify: many surrounding buildings are not occupied and are in the process of renovation. I would stress that the area is safe...we are an older couple and walked around at night with absolutely no problems or feeling of insecurity.

Room Tip: Ask for room 501- penthouse with balcony.

The hotel is very nice. It has a very nice breakfast, big room and it own parking. The staff was over the average friendly. Before leaving we sat, by chance, with the manager and we had a nice conversation about Portugal and surrounding of Porto. I really like the hotel.

Comfortable two rooms, one with two single beds and kitchen annex with cooking equipment and another with matrimonial beg. Big well designed bathroom. Very clean place. Nice breakfast. Good location. You can walk to the city centre.

We stayed in seculo soft hotel. Our room was very clean first of all with a verry big bathroom. The bad was that the aeration was propably out of order. The room had a fridge and the wi-fi was good! Polite staff..the called a taxi for us when we need and at the arrival gived us useful infornation about the city. The breakfast was good!

Seculo Hotel was perfectly okay. The staff was friendly enough, there were bus stops and metro stops within a short walk, the breakfast was good, and it was clean. It was also a very warm and stuffy room, which made it difficult to sleep. The neighborhood was fine, but if I visit Porto again, I'll look for a place closer into the downtown or university neighborhoods. Again, it was a fine stay, just not a favorite place.
