A big group of us went on this tour yesterday (7th December) in several Jeeps... all the drivers/guides seemed excellent but we clearly had THE best ‘David’... not only was he fully informative on EVERYTHING we saw on the tour but he was so friendly and hilarious! He had us all laughing the whole way! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide... thank you David... we definitely agree that Rinaldo is the 2nd best Madeiran ... amazing tour and we recommend this tour company to everybody!

Fun fun fun!

What a brilliant time we had and so reasonable €45 each for a full day, no extra charge for picking up in Ponta do sol! Extra for lunch €12.50 but my goodness three courses plus half a bottle of wine each and coffee!
Our driver Dave was so knowledgeable and so funny I can thoroughly recommend this company!

Great tour & guide

Did the west tour and it had a good mix of off-road mountain climbing, top mountain views, natural pools (Porto Muniz) and village sight seeing. Basically we were everywhere and saw lots of beautiful landscape. We swam in the natural pool for a bit but it was a short time only.

Our guide Ricardo was funny, energetic and witty. He can make jokes on the spot while being a great tour guide giving bits of history, culture and info about Madeira.

Would recommended and advice is to bring a jacket if you're sitting in the back cause it gets windy with the top off.

Great trips!

Review of: Nun’s Valley & Sea Cliff + The Enchanting North - Jeep Tour - Pack Expedition

We've had a pleasure of joining two trips with Madeira Mountain Expedition, with two different guides on two consecutive days. Both of them were very knowledgeable and in a matter of fact forced to use two foreign languages simultaneously, providing the info in both English and French or English and Spanish each. And both of them did a stellar job.
The trips and the routes are simply amazing, taking you off-road where no other vehicle but a jeep can go. What awaits you are scenic views, monumental cliffs and lush mountain forests with beautiful scenery down in the valleys - views you won't forget easily. They're also very neatly organized, even if there are more jeeps covering the same trip on the same day, they keep the distance between each other so you can enjoy the viewpoints without crowds. We've never felt rushed and got all our questions answered.

A must do trip!

Review of: Nun's Valley & Sea Cliff - Half Day Jeep Tours

This was the only excursion we booked, via Jet2holidays, and it was superb. Our driver, David, was really friendly and informative and kept us amused with his witty humour. The views were amazing and from areas otherwise impossible for us to have reached, plus with a small personal gathering it was way better than any bus trip. The drive was superb and we felt perfectly safe at all times. Highly recommend.
