This villa was perfect for our family, when we decided to celebrate my fathers 60th birthday in Portugal. We were a varying crowd, with both adults and children. The pool and all the pool toys were especially appreciated by the kids. The surroundings provided interesting activities with dolphin trips, castles and lovely beaches. Rita, who welcomed us to the villa, was a perfect host. As we arrived rather late, she had gone through the trouble of doing some grocery shopping for us in advance and she also helped us out when we had issues with our rental cars. We would definitely not mind visiting again!
We spent two weeks in July in this lovely cottage with two families with six teen kids. The house is spacious and the garden huge. The kids loved the pool and the fast wifi as well as the football ground. Even with 10 people it never got too crowded or too loud. The house and kitchen is unbelievably well equipped including even a medical emergency kit.
Both Lisbon and beautiful beaches are within driving distance (a car is however required at this location).
The owner/owner's sister was extremly nice, welcoming and very helpful - you cannot ask for more! We definitely recommend this place, for all of us it was the best holiday accomodation we have ever had.
We rented this property for a week in September - it was wonderful! The house is beautiful, the garden is huge and the kids loved the football pitch. The garden and the swimming pool are very well maintained. The house is lovely and quite big and had everything we needed (even a soup mixer!). Everything was there, we just had to bring our own beach towels.
The owner’s sister left us a really nice welcome basket with white wine, cheese, fruit, etc. Lovely touch!
We also loved that the orchard had sweet exotic fruits, like figs and pomegranates and quinces, which were a real treat. As was the barbecue!
Rita, the sister of the owner, spoke good English and was very helpful. Communication was easy. We really enjoyed our holiday in Palmela and we are already planning to go back next year. Margarida S.
