We were in Lisbon for four nights and unlike us we ate here four times which says it all. Saltimbocca superb. Plenty of atmosphere and you really would think you were in Italy.

We ate here twice during our week in Lisbon. The food and atmosphere were both excellent. Don't miss the fresh pasta dishes! The arugula and pear salad was excellent. On one occasion I was not very hungry and just ordered the antipasto dello chef, and that was more than enough for lunch. Service can be a bit slow inside as the waiters are also taking care of the streetside tables, but nothing really to complain about!

My wife found this in a guide we had and it was easy to find and very close to the metro stop Restauradores.

we looked at the menu and the waiter came out and waited patiently while giving us space and not loitering to make us feel pressured. Menu sounded nice so we went inside and ended up being in a smaller side room with about 12-15 tables in it which meant it was quieter and we liked that. However the place was reassuringly busy as no one wants to be in a restaurant and be the only ones there :o).

our order was taken quickly and the food was served quickly also. At first I thought to quick but we both had pizza and it was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing (Dan Salida if you want to know).

We also shared a profiterole dessert and that was utterly delightful. We had a soft drink each and a bottle of water and bill was less than 35 Euros which we thought was good value given the service and quality of the food.
Our waiter spoke great English for us one language heathens and his level of service was great and very much appreciated.

All in all a pleasant meal , evening and a nice way to finish our first day in Lisbon,

After stopping by another restaurant, we decided on da vinci for Italian food. Service was slower than we are used to, but we are from the states. House red was nice, carpaccio was great and the risotto was a very large amount. My friend had the spinach and ricotta cheese ravioli, just fabulous. Go hungry, as the portions are large. Decor was nice and cozy.

One of our favourites on a 15 days-tour in Portugal. Their high prices could be accepted, as the interior was elegant, and the service was above normal standard. Both pizza and tagliatelle was very tasty. They split both dishes without extra charge. A banana-split for dessert was not worth 8€. Toilets a stair up. Only reason for not giving 5 dots, is because they ask for tip. First time for me in Portugal. Could be full in weekend-evenings, even in low season.
