My family and I (5 people in total) stayed at Luis' apartment and we're very glad we did! Because the apartment had been recently vacated that morning, it was not ready for us when we arrived at the apartment at 12:00pm. But Luis was very accomodating and helped with getting the apartment ready for us as fast as he could. After we left our luggage in the apartment and went for lunch, at about 2:30pm the apartment was all ready to go. Luis also gave us directions on how to get to the mini marts closest to our apartment, public transport, and you'll find that there are a lot of great local eats scattered near the apartment.
The apartment itself is fantastic- there is a proper kitchen (stocked with good basic ingredients), a light-filled laundry room, two full bathrooms, a spacious living room and 7 comfortable beds (2 double beds and three single beds) to choose from divided between 3 rooms. To keep out any noise from the streets in the evening, there is an additional set of shutter doors you may close to keep out the cold and noise.
The only negative aspect about this flat is that there is no lift to the third floor (as mentioned in the apartment description), and it's quite bit of work when you have to move large pieces of luggage up the stairs, but if you've got a pair (or a few pairs) of good strong arms to help you, then the journey up and down the stairs when you first arrive and leave the apartment should not be too much of a problem.
Other than that, you have the whole floor to yourself, and the amount of room you're afforded to get some individual space after a long day of sightseeing is really wonderful.
My family would like to thank Luis for letting us stay in his apartment and contributing to making our trip to Lisbon so comfortable and enjoyable.

A nice, spacious flat in a great location. There were mini-markets within a minute's walk, and cafes and restaurants--local, not touristy--almost as near. The metro is 5 minutes away, and Marques da Pombal, and Parque Eduard VII are a 10-minute walk. The oldest part of Lisbon, Alfama, is easily walkable. A Taxi to the airport cost just 9 euros and took 10 minutes. I highly recommend this apartment.
