This is a simple yet functional hotel. There's nothing remarkable about it, but no complaints either. I felt that it was a good price-quality compromise. Staff were helpful when I had a few questions. Breakfast was pretty simple but buffet style, and servers were attentive to refills.
The hotel is very close to
- Oriente (major train station and also metro red line - direct access to the airport)
- Airport (it's a 10 minute drive)
- Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre
- Lisbon Aquarium
- MEO Arena
- Lisbon Casino
- Plenty of restaurants for all budgets, from the cheap ones in the large shopping centre (Vasco da Gama) to pricier options on the water front.
The room has few amenities and is quite small, but then again you're free to walk up the road and pay double if you need more space. Internet worked well, but required temporary code provided by the front desk. The hotel locks the front door at night, but if you ring the doorbell they open it for you.
While it's not really "downtown" Lisbon, I'd stay here again if I needed to be close to the airport/train station.More
