From the gorgeous hotel courtyard to the spacious rooms and castle views out the bedroom windows, this is a perfect spot for a romantic trip to Lisbon. And even though it's at the top of the hill, it's easy to get to by walking, bus or taxi. The staff are wonderful and as we were staying during out anniversary, they provided us with complimentary champagne the first night and port wine the following nights. The breakfast is delicious, and memorable as the castle's peacocks frequently scale the garden wall to join you. The hotel is clean and modern, while exuding charm and even has its own museum as it used to be the location of the castle's kitchens.
Can't recommend this hotel enough! We will definitely stay here again next time we travel to beautiful Lisbon.More
