This guesthouse is located on the top of bairro alto with a panaromic view over lisbon. Breakfast is included in the stay. Rooms are spacy but you need to share bathroom with other peoples and Guest Service is very friendly and i will come to this place in near future.

This is a basic hotel with great furnishings ( comfy beds ) rooms are a good size but had to share bathroom. Our room had a boxed of area with a sink and bday looks possible to turn this into a functional shower room with loo.
Breakfast basic but for the price which is included in room rate under £35 a nite for 2 it's good value.
This is not the Ritz but is a very nice place to stay for a few nights.

Room tip: High floor and private bathroom

Pensao Londres is extremely well located in the Barrio Alto, just across the street from Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcantara and only a 10 minute walk to Praca dos Restauradores or Rossio Station. It is an easy downhill walk to the Baxia or to the Mercado da Ribeira.
It is housed in an old and frankly a little down at heels building, but don't let that put you off. My room was spacious, nicely furnished and spotless, especially the bathroom. Very comfy. The rooms on the street side of the building repay the usual street noise with incredible views of Lisbon.
The breakfast was quite good, with meat and cheese, fresh pastry and fresh fruit and of course excellent coffee.
If you are looking for a luxury suite, this is not your place. But for cleanliness, comfort and a great location the price cannot be beat.
Highly recommended.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view (caveat: people do frequent the streetside bars pretty late).

Having never visited Lisbon, or Portugal, before I was looking for a base in the capital that would give access to everything. My issue? A family of five, always a problem for hotels to accommodate. Not here! The room was very spacious with five proper beds, not a pull out or camp bed in site, and an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The staff were all friendly and efficient and the breakfast, included in the price, was brilliant. A variety of pastries, cereals, jams, juices and teas and coffee. It is also located in a very hip and lively area of Lisbon with many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Some people have mentioned noise levels but, despite being on the first floor, we didn't find this a problem at all. For a family or a group of friends I can't imagine a better place to stay in this wonderful city. And at 100 euros (£70) per night for the whole room, I cannot imagine better value. Thank you so much Pensao Londres!!!

Room tip: First floor family room was wonderful.

The pensao has a great location at the top of barrio alto, the place is not in good shape, it needs an urgent make over, carpets, floors, beds, bathroom, what you pay if what you get. The lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful the gentlemen were the opposite. Wi-Fi was not good, very weak the signal and I was not the only one with this problem. Breakfast was fine nothing complicated breads, cereal, ham nothing fancy, good place for people with tight budget.
