The location is perfect. Exact In the center!!!

The rooms were with terrible old worn old floor covering and furniture !

The sheets were clean.

The towels were clean but old.

The breakfast was poor and in most inappropriate place !

The stuff is perfect

So it's a great location for a hotel. Central. No hills.

It's loud. REALLY OUTDATED.

It's fairly secure. You have to come and go by leaving your key at the front desk.

There's an elevator.

The beds are old. The decor is old. The rooms are small with a filmsy lock on the door. The bathroom is a bathroom.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It's bang in the centre of the Baxia district of pedestrianised central Lisbon, Ideal location to visit all the main tourist highlights of the city. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops right outside the front door. The hotel is a short walk from the main squares where the metro, buses and main train station are located. There was some building work taking place across the street , but did not cause any problem with noise or disturbance during our visit (June 2015) .
We stayed on the 3rd floor which was comfortable, quiet and very clean. Bathroom was also spotless with constant hot water, clean towels and powerful shower. We had a slight problem with the A/C unit, which leaked water onto the floor, but it was quickly dealt with. The furniture and decor was a bit old and and in need of an up-grade, but ok for a few days stay, The Wifi in the lounge/dining area was good, but was poor in our room. It's not a 4 star hotel but good value for the price we paid.
The breakfast was a simple (bread and jam), but the coffee was good and plentiful.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful and gave us great advice on local transport and what to see etc.
Overall good value, excellent location, Ideal for a short city break.

Stayed here in February 2015 with 5 other couples. We had a great time! Slight mix up upon check in with bookings as the receptionist had bad English but got resolved eventually. The decor is seriously old here, so don't expect much. The Wi-Fi works in the lobby/bar area only, and they will tell you that themselves. The bar says 'Open 24 hours', but they refused to serve us when we returned at 1am one evening, so think they are selective about when they serve. We had a room on the top floor next door on the right of the lift and it was really spacious, bigger than my fellow travelers rooms so may be worthwhile asking for this! Lift/ security system is hilarious, the receptionist asks that you leave your key with him every time you leave so you have to report to reception each time you want to return to your room. All in all, had a really good experience here, location is so central, we walked almost everywhere! Everything was clean and had everything we needed.
