Prior to our arrival I emailed to say we are checking in late because our flight was at night and that I hope it was a quick check in as I was with 2 senior parents and an 11 year old. On arrival, the lady at reception insist that I booked 2 rooms for 4 people. I said I paid 2 rooms for 5 people. So that took a bit of time but she was quick to apologize when she saw her mistake. Then she rang the housekeeping to prepare a 3rd bed in our room so that took a bit of time again. We finally got into our rooms at 12 midnight. My parents room 1316 smelled of sewage they asked to be transferred to another room. After 1 hour, at 1 am, they transferred them to a room on the 12th floor. There is a bar with goodies (paying) and a safe. There is also free 4 sachet of coffee and 4 bags of tea but they do not replenish the coffee and tea once you drink it (we stayed there for 5 days - the tea and coffee were consumed in 2 days). The beds are nice and comfortable, we slept well. Some towels were stained and when I asked housekeeping for new ones, some still have stains on it. As we didn't include breakfast in our booking, we paid for our breakfast on the first morning. It is €13.50 per person (if you are IHG member it is €12 per person and kids eat free). Breakfast is ok but not a wow factor. We were glad that we didn't include breakfast in our booking. A few steps on the right of the hotel, there is a nice little cafe. You can have your ham & cheese plus coffee plus orange juice for €2.50 only. Taxis are available as soon as you step out of the hotel doors and they don't cost much (we spent between €5 - €10 each ride). Check out was fast and the reception even printed our boarding pass when I asked. It was over all a great experience

We spent the last night of our Portugal trip at this hotel as the location was convenient getting to the airport early next morning. Nice clean hotel and hospitable reception staff. Lots of local food restaurants around and an interesting area. Uber to the airport was under 5 Euros. We had a good experience overall.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Continental in Lisbon and the hotel is great. It is well located, relatively close to Marques de Pombal square. The hotel is very good, breakfast is super, the ambiance is good and the room is clean and neat. The room had a wooden floor which is great for me because I am allergic. Internet works pretty well.
The price is good, and you may find many tourists in the lobby and restaurant. I enjoyed a lot my stay.

Spent 1 night before a flight to US. Nice location away from the downtown craziness of Lisbon. A 10min. Transfer to the airport by taxi, 6euros. Hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were very clean and what you would expect from a major chain hotel. Local restaurants nearby too.

Nice convenient location. The rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable. The hotel amenities were very nice. Great Breakfast, a little slow service however the food was very good. I would recommend this for anyone traveling to Lisbon.

Room tip: good value for the money
