Took a'petite' room, which was still a good size compared to many I have stayed in.Friendly helpful staf.Clean room. Seems well run overall. Was warned about the noise from renovations next door, but only was a bit of 'wall drilling' for a couple of hours during the day. Aero bus stops nearby. Breakfast was excellent; lots of choice and nice surroundings.

Room tip: Dont be frightened by the 'petite' room descriptions: they're not huge, but perfectly adequate for a couple.

A pleasant stay here located just off the main boulevards, dated but very pleasant , what it lacks in tacky ikea style decoration it compensates with a feeling of providence from years gone by.
A pleasant hotel highly recommended.

This hotel is perfect. The staff is 100% accommodating, There is always a doorman 24/7, and the clerks speak a wide variety of languages. They will do anything for you. The breakfast bar is open from 7-12N and is beyond a full service breakfast bar. The kitchen made us each a packed breakfast of sandwich, banana, boxed drink, and muffin on the morning we left before the breakfast bar opened. The rooms were doubles, and came with a full fridge, snacks (everything you consumed was replaced within 24 hours), and any amenity you would want. Clean, comfortable, quiet. TV in English. We would stay here again!! Well-located.

Room tip: How can any room here NOT be good??

We spent a week in July 2018 at this wonderful hotel. Thank all you TripAdvisor reviewers for this recommendation!
This is a smaller boutique-type of hotel in a great city location, right off Ave de Liberdade in the Avenida area. Ave de Liberdade is the tree-lined avenue running down to the Restauradores, Rossio, Baixa areas, and then the river and Comercio Plaza. It is a wide boulevard with a large center sidewalk. The hotel is part of the Hoteis Heritage hotel group with 5 hotels in Lisbon. Our 2nd floor room was very comfortable for 2 people. Full bath w/tub & bidet, AC, room safe, twin beds, flat-screen TV, view of the street in front of the hotel.
This street is very quiet - it is a half-block from the main Ave. There was no construction noise as was reported online by others.
The hotel has a small bar/snack area, a small gym, a couple computers & a printer.
The breakfast is really fantastic - there is something for everyone - fruits, juices, cereals, eggs, bacon, little hotdogs, fish, all kinds of pastries, soup (yes, soup), coffees, teas, etc. I think they cater to the Brits bec of the selection - but all so good!
Make sure you include breakfast with your booking!

The hotel is located about a 4 min. walk to the Avenida Metro (subway) station. Very easy to get to places downtown. Buses run up-down the Ave too. Also you are about a 10-15 min walk to the Rossio train station - if you wanted to go check out Sintra - which is about 45 min train ride. The walk is down-hill too.
(Sintra has the palaces and estate house used by the royals over the ages -very cool to see).
There are nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel - the best we found are off the main Ave, on the back-streets - where the locals go. Look for my other reviews for some good choices.

The staff at this hotel are super friendly and welcoming. Anything we needed - from directions, restaurant ideas, batteries for a camera, to getting a taxi - they provided with a smile & friendly conversation. A shout-out to: George, Paulo, Igor, Dorinala, and the 2 Ana's and the others at the front desk - these folks are terrific, and certainly know about customer service!

The airport is about 20 min by taxi and the cruise port about 15 min.
When we travel back to Lisboa, this is def where we will be staying again!

Room tip: Ask for a quiet room.
