Note: At the moment, their website says there may be construction noise from next door. We were there 5 days and there was no impact on us - it was quiet, and well insulated.

Beautiful hotel, good staff, clean, spacious, and nicely located on the main street of Lisbon, but walking distance from downtown and the water. Loved it. Nice breakfast selection. Free Wifi, no smoking, and the small restaurant in the hotel is reliable and open long hours (good for travelers on time change).

After a marathon trip to Lisbon I was greeted warmly by the late night attendant. The breakfast was quite good and the staff overall were quite friendly. The rooms were of generous size and they provided me with toiletries.

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for staying with us and for your review.
We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and our central location just off the exclusive Avenida Liberdade. The Lisboa Plaza is a traditional hotel, owned by the same family since its construction in 1954, where we try to keep its original charm but combining it with today’s technologies. Our aim is to preserve the hotel’s character in a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms vary in size and layout, from the petite room to the junior suites, but all of them offering today's comfort.
We look forward welcoming you again to our beautiful city.
Yours sincerely,
Diogo Laranjo
General Manager

We have spent a very enjoyable 3 nights at this hotel which is centrally and conveniently located in the “upmarket” area of Lisbon. The hotel is welcoming and very well organised with very friendly staff and well appointed bedrooms. The facilities are good and the breakfast is excellent. All that one needs to make a city break all the better.

This hotel is in a small quiet side street just off one of the main streets in Lisbon – The Avernida Da Liberdade. Closest Metro is Avenida and it’s only about a 10-minute walk up to Marques de Pombal (main departure stop for the open-topped sightseeing buses. It’s about a 30-minute walk down to the main square Praca da Comercio.
The staff are well-trained, efficient, helpful and polite. We had a large comfortable double room on the fourth floor at the back of the hotel – 2 lifts quickly took you up or down. The bathroom was slightly small but had a very good bath/shower.
We booked for bed and breakfast and felt this was a good deal. Self-service buffet breakfast – well presented and the staff quick. Good range of food on offer including fresh rolls and delicious cakes! There was a comfortable bar on the ground floor and a terrace on the roof (unfortunately our trip was March and it was wet and windy so we couldn’t make use of this! It would be lovely in warmer, drier weather. However, you’d really want to be out exploring other parts of the city to find typical Lisbon bars and restaurants.
Our booking with "Jet Set" also included transit to and from the airport - excellent.

Room Tip: We were first given a twin but could easily change for a double. There's a lot of building work going on in the city but our room was quiet.

When visiting Lisbon I would seriously consider booking this hotel .It has everything you require for a city visit. For a start, as far as I am concerned ,it has one if the best locations .You are just off the main Ave Liberdade ,a beautiful tree lined avenue . If you walk down the way it takes you through the restaurant areas and follow that down to the river where you find more restaurants . No need for taxis. When walking up the way this takes you past all the very expensive designer shops to the hop on hop off bus stop. Metro is nearby too.
Checkin was no problem especially since we arrived after midnight . The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The hotel rooms are very clean ,spacious and well equipped with toiletries, hairdryer and mini fridge. There are a few resident lounges where you have complimentary coffee, tea or water. There is a good varied choice of breakfast including a chocolate fountain if so desired .
There is a lovely roof terrace but unfortunately it was too cold for us the week we visited Lisbon.
A little aside about the hotel .... I left behind an item of clothing . (My fault as left it lying on the bed. ) I emailed the hotel and a very quick response from Sylvia told me they had found the item and they would post it to me free of charge . How honest and kind is that !!
Will return to Lisbon in September as the taxi driver told us this is the best time to visit the city. We intend to revisit this hotel.
Thank you Lisboa Plaza for making our stay in Lisbon so enjoyable despite the rain .
