My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Miragem. My husband attended a job conference and lucky me was on holiday.
We had a nice ocean view room at the 5th floor with a spacious terasse. There was a flower box in front which was running a bit wild. Some watering would have helped a lot. The room was spacious and clean with a huge bed. The bed was a bit hard for me, but an extra mattress and some extra pillows helped a lot. Very good service from housekeeping. We loved the small treats left in the room and the turndown service every night.
The bathroom was very nice with a separate bath and shower and twin sinks. Wonderful soft towels the american way.
Breakfast was exellent with a good variety of products. The lunch buffet was great and dinner in the restaurant was fine. The service level was more than exellent.
Agree with earlier reviews that some of the art and furnishing in the public floors are a bit provoking.
Walking distance to wonderful Cascais with lots of restaurants and shops. The train to Lisbon takes only 30 minutes from Cascais .
We will definetly recommend the hotel.

Just had the most fantastic week at the Miragem.
When we arrived we were blown away be the magnificent lobby with its scenic lifts.
We had a hugh room with a separate dressing area and a beautiful bathroom with bath and separate shower. Although we didn't have a private balcony it didn't spoil our enjoyment as there was a large balcony overlooking the pool and sea were you could have complimentary soft drinks and nibbles in the afternoon.
All the staff were very professional and made you feel really special, nothing was too much trouble.
We only ate breakfast at the hotel which we enjoyed. There was lots to choose from hot and cold, you could even have a glass of sparking wine with your breakfast which was a first for me.
Don't be put off by the railway line that runs in front of the hotel, you can barely hear the trains and you don't really notice them from the pool area.
The hotel is in a great location for the lovely beaches and local restaurants.
I would love to visit Cascais again and would definitely stay at the Miragem again

We spent a couple of days of our honeymoon at Miragem Cascais.

The hotel and staff were amazing. The pool area was perfect, clean with great views and service. The hotel is very central, we were within walking distance to the beach and Cascais town (lots of restaurants and cafes). This hotel is up there with other 5 star hotels that we have stayed at.

The room itself was perfect, spacious, luxurious and everything was just right. We had a superior room with sea views, it was absolute bliss. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel, the service was top notch. The hotel went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and welcome, we loved the personal touches. We would like to say thank you very much!

We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel. There were lots of options for breakfast, however the quality of the fruit could've been better - the mango, kiwifruit and pineapple didn't appear fresh. Lunch was okay, just your standard western dishes. I would recommend venturing out of the hotel to try some portugese cuisine.

We opted for a transfer from Lisbon airport (booked through the hotel) about €60 each way. Our driver was lovely and took us along the scenic seaside route instead of the highway, he happily pointed out key points of interest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Miragem Cascais and would definitely recommend it! We wish that we could've stayed longer and would definitely return in the future.

4 of us stayed here so the "boys " could play some of the local golf courses. Excellent choice as this hotel offers every facility for a relaxing 10 days. It is ideally situated for exploring the area, is right on the seafront and only a short walk to the town where there is a wide range of restaurants and shops. The staff are extremely helpful and offer sound advice on everything the guests need to know. We stayed in a deluxe room on the 9th floor with extensive views over the bay ....lovely to watch the sunrise over the sea. Rooms are serviced twice a day and are very comfortable. There is a large outdoor pool (we didn't use the indoor one) but,be warned, it is freezing cold! The buffet breakfast is very varied and it's a struggle not to spend a whole morning replenishing your plate as there is so much choice. Our only criticism here is that the plates aren't warmed and cooked food gets cold very quickly. One other warning for the women...forget bringing heels if you are walking into town as everywhere is cobbled and uneven. Great base to stay though and we will come back. Definitely recommend.

We only stayed a single night, due to confusion with our booking somewhere else. This is a fantastic hotel, with great views from pools and eating & drinking areas. The food is on expensive side for the area, but that is to be expected with top 5 star hotels. Staff were excellent, very helpful indeed. Its also a short walk to town of cascais and beaches, a great added benefit :)
