Room was decent. Very small bathroom. Air conditioning or heat is on based on the season. We were told if our room is too cold shut the system off. Silly. We stayed in 5 different hotels and this was the only one that did not provide a bottle of water every day. Beautiful grounds during the day but treacherous in the evening and night since there is no outside lighting. Cramped parking lot. Just an okay breakfast. Indoor pool is tiny. Outdoor pool medium size.
The rooms are comfortable and the location is great. The breakfast area is very nice and they have a quaint outdoor seating area. My only issue is the prices for drinks, desserts, etc. were high relative to other hotels in the area. We used the Turkish bath but it turned off while we were in it and no one was around to turn it back on. The restaurant staff was very friendly. We were able to store our bags since we arrived early and left after check out.
The hotel is really very good. Our room had a beautiful view on the harbour. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good restaurant.
Room was lovely, pool/bar staff great. Yoga teacher superb.
Reception staff inhospitable and unhelpful on every occasion. Whether it was ordering a cab, laundry services, booking any additional activity or giving directions. Late check outs non existent. Computer says no attitude. Hospitality not natural to them at all
We would go back to this lovely hotel in a heartbeat.
Spotlessly clean, super food, brilliant service, extremely comfortable beds and the very nicest staff we have ever encountered in a hotel.
Full marks all round.
Lagos is only 35 mins away for a day out but we just enjoyed relaxing.
