We've always had a soft spot for this restaurant ever since we we were directed to it during a spell of heavy rain years ago. Some places never fail to deliver and this is one of them. This October has been very warm but the outside tables were reasonably cool and the service was helpful and efficient. My wife and daughter opted for the prato di dia , which was hake fillets served with salad and rice, while I had pork cheek, cooked to perfection. The Alentejano bottle was great value at 9 euros. Total bill, with water, 40 euros. As always, tremendous value as the locals will testify.
