Set in a small Derbyshire village with easy access, even from the front door, for some great walks and visits to local places of historical interest, eg Chatsworth House. We were made to feel very welcome and safe - especially important during these uncertain Covid times. The cottage is very clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. There is even a small balcony from the upper living room area - unfortunately, not quite warm enough in late September for us to use.
This is one of the nicest, most well equipped cottages we have ever stayed in. Priscilla really has thought of everything you could need while you're away.
Do listen to Priscilla's advice before confirming your stay should you be visiting with a small child on the move that is not confident with stairs and won't listen when asked to keep away, as the steps up and down are fairly steep (we personally had no trouble with our 2 year old but wouldn't have wanted to take her any younger).
We only stopped for the weekend but could easily have stayed here a week, if we're ever visiting the area again this will definitely be our first choice of accommodation. And hopefully we could enjoy the balcony in the sunshine next time!
