Just back from an extra long weekend away at Marble Lake Lodge. Rented the Lakeside (#6) cottage. Connie made it clear to us it was a rustic cabin. We are low maintenance, seasoned campers who love rustic so we were delighted with this great little get-away. The cottage was right on the lake and it was wonderful to sit in the screen room and listen to the water lapping right beside us. The cottage was basic as described - it was clean and included fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker all in good working order. Connie and her staff were friendly and accommodating and nothing seemed too much to ask. We made great use of their canoes and motor boat rental. Had a lovely, relaxing time and plan to make Marble Lake Lodge a regular on our 'get-away' list.

Great view of the lake, very cozy cottage, close to Bon Echo Park
Lake water super clear, canoe/kayak was fun
Owner was very kind and nice too

We reserved a cabin ahead of time and arrived to find cabins shown to us to be filthy. They were not only unclean and unkempt with debris from previous occupants, they suffered from long-term neglect. Nothing was in good shape; furniture was soiled; appliances didn't work. There were electrical and plumbing problems.
The manager, Connie, was pleasant but could not make up for this terrible place.

We are aware of the cleanliness issues and we are addressing the matter. Sorry Marble Lake Lodge did not meet your expectations.
1 review definitely would go back to this place! clean water, cabin steps from the water, canoe/kayak as long as you want. Owner are very nice and accommodating.
