We visited on a Tuesday evening, having checked earlier in the day that the restaurant was open (as the information we found online suggested it was closed on a Tuesday), and arrived at around 07.15 to an empty restaurant, which apart from us never got any fuller as the evening progressed - hence the lack of atmosphere!
As the only people dining the service was very attentive, as you might expect.
The wine was a little interesting... The wine list was quite limited, and we chose a red wine which caused some discussion as it turned out that the wine list was even more limited than that shown in the menu! In the end we chose a bottle that they did have, on the waiter's recommendation, but even then they didn't have a 75ml bottle, so instead we had 2 37.5ml bottles one after the other! At least they only charged us the 75ml bottle price.
The food (we both ordered the fixed price menu, €26 from memory) came in a reasonable time and was very attractively presented and delicious - we had a lovely meal.
The bill was reasonable, although we could have done without the staff hanging around with their coats on waiting for us to leave!
All in all we enjoyed our visit and had a lovely meal - it was just a pity that there weren't other diners to give the place a bit more at atmosphere.
