“Perfect, relaxing hideaway for exploring lovely Belgium”
Reviewed 11 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

From beginning to end the whole process of booking, staying at and returning from Ter Loo was a pleasure. Peggy couldn't be more prompt or helpful in answering any questions or with the booking. Extremely well priced too for half term week! Prompt repayment of deposit refundable by following a few simple rules.
On arrival we were met by a lovely agent who showed us around the apartment and familiarised us with everything we needed to know.
The apartment itself was perfectly clean and plenty of room for us, 2 adults, 1 five year old and an 18 month old. Everything we had requested for our little one and more was present on arrival!
Lovely and cosy with all mod cons you'd need for nights in when the kids are in bed with Wifi and a modern tv. Perfectly situated it is right across the street from a very well stocked supermarket and a local bar serving nice food with very friendly staff. It is within walking distance of 2 very decent play parks for the kids and within an easy 5 min drive to Oostende centre.
The sports centre in the town has a really nice little indoor saltwater pool for the children if there is an iffy day weather wise, as well as a well priced cafe to grab lunch after your swim. Very cheap too at 6 euros for all four of us to swim!
Short 15 min drive to Brugges and not much farther to Ghent, both lovely and worth a visit to really appreciate the history of this delightful country and stock up on the beer and chocolate! Everyone so friendly and helpful, plenty to see and do and the whole trip topped off by a lovely home from home apartment. No need to take hairdryer,as full salon sized one on site, everything you could want for little ones, even toys, which helps to reduce luggage!
Perfect base, perfect holiday
Would definitely stay again if we decided to return to Belgium.

“Great position for exploring.”
Reviewed 9 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Ter Loo is a lovely, spacious apartment a 10 minute drive from central Ostend. Beautifully decorated and supplied with everything you could
need-except a kettle. There is an excellent

Carrefour and a cafe/bar with friendly staff. We visited Bruges, Ypres, Blankenberg and other places. All of which were easy to drive to. We didn't use the public transport but There is a bus stop outside the apartment. Ostend beach is superb, miles of beautiful sand and very clean. We had a fabulous time and will return.

Apt is well equipped to spend time there with small kids. It is close to the store and to the beach. It is a short (about 15 minutes) walking distance from Fort Napoleon.
Read the agreement carefully, be sure to follow all the written instructions and you'll have no problem getting your deposit back.

“Petite little apartment”

The lady that greeted our party was friendly and helpful.
The apartment was clean and all amenities you would expect from a self catering unit was provided.

It says it sleeps 7 and at a push it does but if you want to be comfortable I suggest no more than five people total. We were four adults and three children and it was very cramped. The master bedroom is a standard double and the second room is a tiny box room with bunk beds and an infants cot.

It's located on the outskirts of the Ostend residential area and you need to take public transport or take a car to get to the main part of the town. It's about a fifteen minute walk from the beach. A supermarket is located on the other side of the street which is super convenient and there's a small bistro located there too which serves simple fair.

All in all clean and functional apartment but too small to comfortably house 7 people.
