This is a 3 star hotel but nice quality. Its clean and tidy and a fantastic location in the historic centre. You can park out front or in nearby public parking. Rooms are very large, judging by ours. Can get a little noisy in the front at times. No air conditioning but good heating. Large windows and a lovely view from our front room. Breakfast is average.

We stayed one night in Room 42. This has been the most horrendous place where we've been so far, considering that we've been in all type of accommodations in different countries.

The room itself was messy and dirty, the walls, the side lamp had rest of food on it from other guests, the bed was itchy and the isolation barely exists. We had to took our own blankets and use them as sheets so we could get some sleep (not mentioning the noise that came from our neighbors' room and shower).

The bathroom was the most unacceptable part of the room, it really need a good clean and some money in. You can't not expect dusty and dirty floors and mouldy (black) window for the price that they charge for this room.

The only positive thing about this hotel, it's location.

Another last minute escape from the big smoke led us to Bruges and this hotel which has a marvellous view - thank god we weren’t here on a week day.

Receptionist told us that just 7 rooms were booked but would not change our room to a canal view.

Returned to hotel to find bar manager had gone home early so no drinks and then offered two open bottles of white wine - opened already

Very clean and tidy hotel. Good choices of continental breakfast. Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Only 10 minutes to centre of Bruges. Quiet and lovely situation. Pleasant room and bar area.

Room tip: There were a few steps to get up to the front door. Front door a bit heavy to open. Steps up to bedrooms.

We booked this hotel at the last minute and were very pleased with the room and the hotel was within walking distance of the city sights. The staff was a little stand-offish and really no good with giving directions. Breakfast buffet was included and very nice.
