Great location within walking distance to City center. Everything was provided and the refrigerator and pantry were well stocked.

“PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN HOLLAND”
Reviewed 25 July 2014 for a stay in April 2014

My sister-in-law and I stayed on the Pride of Leiden in April, 2014. She had preciously stayed there and thought it was such a fun experience. This Houseboat is perfect for 3 or 4 people. Good location, near bus, restaurants and food markets, as well as a comfortable walk to the square. Jacquie, the owner, has the cupboards and refrigerator fully stocked. She advertises there is enough food for your first meal, while, actually, there is enough for several days. The Houseboat is stocked with extra towels and prepared to offer a comfortable experience. Leiden, which I've visited several times, is one of my favorite places. Staying on a Houseboat, made the Dutch experience even more special. Maryann Triplett

“Nice house boat in leyden”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

I thought this was a great place to stay in leiden with my family versus a hotel. It has everything you need with two nice bedrooms and a big living room. It does have a small tv but we were hardly ever there so we did not use it much. The owner is really nice and stocks the kitchen with food for the first couple of days

“Delightful”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Having never stayed on a houseboat before,I was not sure what to expect, but it was a delightful experience. The friendly owner met us at the boat, and gave us enough breakfast for a week, and gave us lots of info and advice about the town of Leiden. The accom.is really very comfortable and the weather was so good that we had all our meals outside on the veranda, overlooking the canal and a typical Dutch bridge. There is free on street parking just around the corner, and if you are feeling lazy, a bus stop just up the road, although the walk into town is only about 20 mins. I would strongly recommend this houseboat and the town of Leiden.

Jacqueline Mahieu, the owner, was very helpful, kind and meticulous. The property is nicely located and well-kept. She placed everything one needs for breakfast in the kitchen before our arrival. She took time to explain everything. It was a great experience.to stay for four nights.
