We arrived at this hotel at about 11am, the room was not ready to check into and we had to pay an extra €5 to leave out suitcase whilst we went to explore - this wasn’t the best start to our holiday, normally it’s free to leave your cases. Anyway, the room was quite nice apart from the TV which was very small, enough space for us both and the bed was comfortable. All staff on reception are lovely and have great customer service/support, there’s someone on the desk 24/7 so if you ever need anything there’s always someone there. Location of the hotel is great, right next to zaandam train station and only a 10-15 minute journey on the train into the centre. Overall a good stay :)

Very clean and friendly hotel in a lovely location. No food facilities - but there is a range of cafes and restaurants nearby and a small supermarket over the canal.

Short walking distance from the train station which has a regular service to Amsterdam (15 mins away).

The windmills nearby are well worth a visit.

The rooms were much smaller than we expected. We barely had enough room to put away our things. However, the hospitality of the employees definitely won us over. Thank you so much to Dinis, Lloyd, and Mendes! They were all very kind, funny, and helpful. Anything we asked for all three were willing to help us. Thank you guys for making us feel welcome!
