Our second time staying at this amazing hotel. We had 6 rooms as we were there for an extended family reunion and the booking and arrival process were both smooth, with everything clearly communicated. The reception and restaurant/bar have been recently upgraded and they have made it look amazing. The location is very close to Haarlem centre, a short bus ride or lovely walk along the canal. Our room and bathroom were so spacious, beds comfortable and everything very clean every day. Quiet at night even though located on a busy road. The breakfast is extensive and staff friendly.

We have just spent 4 nights at the hotel (our second visit) and wanted to say how much we appreciated the service given by the excellent, well trained and smart staff front of house (Reception, Restaurants, Bars and House-Keeping. The hotel is well located on the edge of Haarlem and on the bus route (300) from the airport to Haarlem Station. The hotel is spotlessly clean, although a cigarette packet was left in our room when we moved in. We choose not to have the room made up for a couple of days and received a rebate of 5 Euros. A negative aspect for us was the lighting in our room which is not very bright. The shower is brilliant, a really big cubicle.
The choice of breakfast items was amazing and very fresh. Just watch out people do not look where they are going when visiting the room. We ate in the hotel on two evenings - the portions are huge - Farmers Schnitzel is wonderful. Be aware when ordering fries and vegetables they come as two portions - we didn't realise and wasted a lot of food. The mustard soup is very different but loved it. Sadly the second night the steak was not well cooked and very tough. The waitress reported it to the head of the restaurant.
Overall it was a brilliant experience and we will be returning in April hopefully.

We don't normally choose to stay in large modern hotels (other than occasional night before flight) but couldn't find a suitable Airbnb. However this was a very pleasant experience - comfortable, tastefully decorated room with a large terrace area outside. Very nicely decorated and furnished reception and common areas. Restaurant food was very good - but very large portions! Staff very friendly and helpful. Large hotel car park. A bus for the town centre/railway station stops on the road outside the hotel about every 10 minutes but it's also an easy walk into town. Would stay again!
