Stayed here from January to March working locally through the pandemic of the covi virus
The hotel is situated on a busy junction near to a railway line but the noise is minimal due to the double glazed windows there are a few shops within a 10 minute walk selling ever day products the hotel is clean and the staff friendly all in all a pleasant stay and the location good they do charge €7 euro a day for parking though and parking near by is minimal 👍

My husband and I stayed one night at this hotel. There is NO air conditioning in the rooms; with outside 36.0’C we had 29.7’C in the room. Windows can open just a few cm, so eventually my husband slept in the car with AC on (EV, so no emissions). I asked for a fan, but without success to receive one. During the next day, it came out that, unfortunately, we have to spend one more night in Haarlem and, despite all, our decision was to stay in the same hotel. The receptionist was very rude and insisted that we have to drive back to the hotel and pay for the extra night. Payment while check out was NOT possible! So, after that I just went there, told the administrators what I think about this hotel, picked up the luggage and run away immediately.
Moreover, the personnel is NOT wearing masks indoor incl. the waitresses during breakfast. No physical distancing either.
My recommendation -> DO NOT waste your time and money there.

We booked one family room and one standard room for 2 nights for our family of five. Very clean and modern rooms, the bed was comfortable and big, flat screen TV, large bathroom and we experienced no noise during the night. The breakfast buffet was correct and the restaurant has a view on the ice ring. I recommend this hotel when staying in Haarlem.
Very friendly and available personnel.
Point to improve: very small parking and it is not free of charge, even though the hotel is not situated in the center of Haarlem!

Hotel is next to a ice inline skating stadium where you can enjoy the speed skaters from the lobby area from 7am to 11pm.
Hotel is basic with no food or drink inside the room or will face a fine of 50EUR.
Hotel within walking distance to badminton hall in 5min.
Good breakfast. Chargeable of coffee after breakfast though tea, water hot or cold are free flow throughout the day. Vending machine with cup noodle (3 eur)and snacks available. Supermarket about 15min walk nearest with cup noodle at 1 eur.
Windy , rainy unforeseen weather during this period. But nice to head out if there is sun and little wind to explore the surrounding area. Haarlem station and the cathedral area about 2.5km within 30min walk.
Hotel is big for triple and clean. Simple toilette with just shower gel only. No provide of toothbrush/paste.
Train to Amsterdam central about 30min and day pass of 10eur from Haarlem station.

Start with the positives, the beds were really comfortable.
Negatives, well basically trying to charge me for beers which I had not had was a bit off!!!!!!!!!! after a while they took them off my bill. " is that ok? ", not really, I don't appreciate the inference that I am a thief.
When I asked to review the cctv, to prove my innocence, I was told that it can only be reviewed if the police become involved, fine with me, they were not called.
No restaurant, no bar, rooms noisy, my room heater fan was very noisy.
In summary, not a nice experience,
Never to be revisited.
