We have just stayed at Social Hub, we booked here because of lacking other alternatives.
It should be a three-star hotel but it looks more like a residence: you have to check in and check out on your own; they change sheets and towels every other day, and if you need new towels they give them directly at the reception, without room service (unacceptable for a hotel); the same way, rooms are cleaned every other day, and they are cleaned very superficially (we found different objects forgot by previous clients) and during our stay, the toilet was not cleaned at all! Again: unacceptable for a hotel.
The Hotel is very far from the city centre: 30 min by metro/tram and more than 1 hour on foot. Even if it is well-connected the position is very inconvenient, forcing you to stay out all day.
It is worth paying a bit more, but to have a better-placed hotel considering that Amsterdam is larger than what you can guess.
Good position considering the airport.
Considering what they offer, their position and the cost, without any doubt value for money is simply terrible.
Choose this hotel only if you have no other choices.

Regarding your concerns, we want to ensure every guest feels comfortable and well-cared for, so it's important for us to explain that our self-service check-in counters are there to make the arrival experience as smooth as possible, especially during busier times.
Additionally, while we do provide cleaning every other day (mentioned upon booking) to be mindful of our environmental impact on our 3 star property, we're always happy to offer additional towels or cleaning upon request – we're just a quick chat away at the reception, day or night. We're always seeking ways to enhance our guest experience, and your feedback is valuable in that ongoing process.
We do hope that you will return so that we can provide you with a more enjoyable stay in the future.

Positive aspect : the metro and the tram are not far at all ; the staff is friendly, patient and ready to help or to inform : GREAT !
But the cleaning once a week (every wednesday) is too poor for me : the bath towels, the sheet, the carpet need to be changed more than once a week in a hotel !!!!!! so negative aspect
The studio has only 1 chair and no table even to eat a sandwich but a very large bookcase with a few drawers which is rather useless in a studio !!! The room was not very comfortable so negative aspect.
