Cleaning is an issue

We asked and paid for a triple room. The picture you provided us isn’t close to what we got.
We are still here.
No maid service ever.
I got stuck in the elevator today. Lights went out and I used my phone light to find the alarm button, and look for a way out. When I finally got out the two girls said @do you want water”
It’s our 6th night and I again had to ask for new towels since no one cleaned our room. It’s 9:18 pm. I think you’re not coming to clean my room tonight.

We apologize for the issues you faced during your stay, particularly with the cleaning service. Our hotel offers daily cleaning, and it's concerning to hear that this was not provided in your case. We have addressed this matter with our housekeeping team to ensure it doesn't happen again.

We're also sorry to hear about your experience with the elevator. We understand how distressing that must have been, it seems that due to a bug the lights went out while you were inside, we can advise that this was fixed immediately.

Regarding the room size, we acknowledge that our rooms are compact, but we strive to provide all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including Sweet Beds, a desk, and flat-screen TV.

Very good hotel (IKEA style) located near Metro Station and Bus Stop.

Stayed at the hotel twice. They serve a good breakfast. Very helpful staff members. Reasonable price. Join the Accor Loyalty Program and get 10% discount. Cheaper, than at Booking.
Although the hotel is not located in the city center, but it is a short walk (3-4 minutes) from Metro Station (Isolatorweg M50/M51) and Bus 22 station (right on the opposite side of the hotel). You can get to the city center in about 30 minutes.
I recommend the hotel for everyone who travels to Amsterdam!

Summer vacation 23 - family

Very friendly staff, thank you! Room is renovated, but bathrooms are modular ones (looks like an airplane bathroom - but shower is very good). Good breakfast! Few places in the parking car, our car was in the street and we had to pay with EasyPay EUR 19,00 per night.
Well connected to the city centre by bus (line 22 leaves you in the central station in about 15 minutes). The city public transportation has its own app where you can buy group ticket for maximum 5 people for only EUR 17,50 and it last for 24 hours. It is great that we don’t need the city center with car! :)
In general, good experience at this hotel. Thanks, staff! Good job!

Typical Ibis, near Sloterdijk

About 15 min easy walk from Sloterdijk station where you have the Flixbus and French Blabla bus station and railwaystation to go to Amsterdam Central or Schiphol airport.
Rooms are standard Ibis rooms, clean and comfortabel.

Breakfast was very good and always well topped up. I found the check in staff extremely friendly, as well as the staff in the hotel bar. Really nice staff.

Disappointing, Isolated, Bare Bones

I have stayed in 18 hotels in the last month visiting eight countries and find the Ibis Amsterdam City West the least desirable. Close to everything they say, what a crock. A 15 minute walk with large suitcases from the train station is not ideal, proximity of a supermarket and restaurants around a kilometre. The room is very small with sub standard air conditioning. No fridge and the only other accessory provided are two paper cups other than standard bathroom consumables. I requested a refund for the remaining five nights which was declined. On two occasions we had to remind reception to make up our room after 4pm. Reception staff were helpful and attentive. For my money search elsewhere and give the Ibis a miss.
