An Ibis like any other, with identical interior & external decor and concept. Good budget choice. Yeah it is a bit far from the center, but close to Sloterdijk Station which has good connectivity to othet cities if you're planning day trips, and is also one train ride away from Amsterdaam Centraal. In terms of nearby restaurants, only mediocre options are available.

Do yourself a favor and do more research before booking Ibis Amsterdam City West.
•The air conditioning does not work
•The 20euro per person buffet breakfast is
comparable (perhaps sub-par) to any
complimentary hotel breakfast, as is the
3 euros coffee/tea.
•Lobby bar is stocked with a good selection
spirits, beer and wine. However, lacking a
bartender to mix a proper cocktail.
•Comfortable bed!
Overall, Ibis Amsterdam City West is overpriced for what it offers. The stylish, hip vibe is nothing more than a facade. I left feeling duped by the advertisement of Ibis Amsterdam City West.

There's nothing to do nearby (restaurants and groceries are a longer walk away), but at least it's close to a bus stop and a metro station that can take you to the central station. The room is okay (no mini-fridge), on the lower end. Very expensive breakfast with small variety of options, get it elsewhere.
Good enough if you only need a place to sleep, if only a bit pricey for what it offers.

This hotel advertises parking but 15 spaces for 170 rooms surely doesn't count. Yes you can park outside for 15 euro per day. Not very well signposted electric vehicle charging point will see your car towed away as mine was. We paid more for parking for 3 days than the actual room cost. 460 ish euro for parking and towing charges and about 230 euro for a room for 3 nights. Not very helpful management team as they are usually "in a meeting" . If you are driving here then avoid at all costs. We will not be using this hotel again. Not as friendly as it was 3 years ago either. Very disappointed.

We do offer indeed 15 parking spaces in our garage for our guests. If our garage is full, you can park your car outside where you can find alot of parking spaces. 2 of these spaces are indeed for electric vehicle only, recognized by a blue sign and a charging point. We are very sorry to hear your car was towed away.

We stayed here in 2019 after our roadtrip to germany and back to the UK and had no trouble with parking for two cars so we rebooked it for our 2022 roadtrip. On arrival we were told the car park was full (15 spaces for 170 rooms!!) So we were told that we could park in the bays outside. Two cars per day was 30 euro so over 3 days we paid 90 euro. Unbeknown to me I mistakenly parked in one of the electric charging points and on the third day my car was towed at 7.40 am. The charging point was not very well signposted and the very small sign that was in-between two bays was in Dutch. 370 euro later. So I paid 460 euro for parking and about 220 euro for a room for three nights!! We won't be visiting this hotel again. Beware of this place if you have a car. Also, not as friendly and welcoming as our previous stay.
