Great location just next to Sloterdijk station and with many tramway lines passing nearby, which allows you to be at city centre in less than 10 minutes. The rooms are very small with the bare minimum, although the bathrooms were spatious enough and the bed was small but comfortable. I would say tha the hotel is adequate for young people travelling alone or for groups of friends that are not looking for anything fancy in a hotel, not so much for families or business trips.

We regret that despite the positive review, you were not totally satisfied with our accommodation and we would like to take this opportunity to explain that the MEININGER brand is designed for the basic needs of urban travellers. As we are both a hotel as a hostel, combining the best from both, we do have some procedures that might not match the expectations of all of our guests. We do try to meet to all our guests their needs, but we also understand that it depends on personal expectations whether someone likes our concept. Was so much more that we expected to be honest. Bar was great and when it closed you still had the wee shop were you buy alcohol and sit and drink,, pool table and football table great vibe everyone chatting laughing. Had kitchen if you wanted yo make your own food and also washing machines. Vending machines free place to fill your drinking water. Security at door music playing nice and clean too. 5mins from train into centre and also other one to airport really fab location. Rooms are fine 4 of us in bunks and 2 in double one toilet and separate shower room lockers for clothes. Beds clean and fresh towels left. I am so presently surprised it's not the ritz but location vibe friendly helpful staff and amenities would stay again in heartbeat.

We really liked the atmosphere of this hotel. Very clean and close to a lot of things. Downtown is only a metro ride away, and the nearest station is literally next door. The shared kitchen is an awesome addition and helped us keep our food expenses down. Would definitely stay again
