“Amazing time ”

Levend Paardenmuseum De Hollandsche Manege
Reviewed 3 May 2018 via mobile

This is a riding school and stable in the middle of Amsterdam. Entrance is charged and then you are free to roam around and photograph without using flash. The balcony area overlooking the main arena has beverages and treats and you are able to sit and watch lessons being taught.

My family were all underwhelmed by this. We are not into horse riding, but felt that it would make an interesting visit. At 8 euro each, including a coffee, we thought it was seriously over priced, especially when you can get into the Van Gogh Museum for 17 euro.

A hidden treasure near Vondelpark! Right in the middle of a residential area is a riding school with a cute little cafe on the second floor. I sat overlooking someone taking their lesson having a nice glass of hot tea. Felt like I was far away from the hustle & bustle of the city. Such a relaxing hour!

The oldest riding school of Amsterdam tucked away in a city block just a fw hundred meters from the Vondel Park. If you love horses its worth the trip. Sot on the balcony and watch the riding lessons below. Great coffee. No lift only a staircase.

I will name it like this: hidden gem. Very close to Vondelpark, this is the oldest equestrian centre in Amsterdam. Expect a horse typically smell, a quiet and a cozy place with a great architecture. You have to go upstairs and have a coffee or a tea at their romantic terrace with a view over the arena.
