I had great time. It was so welcome and the Mexican girl Esperanza at the front desk make my day with her service. Just because its an a old building but It works if you go some days. The location is very good. Near to all good places. The next time I'll be there.

Very nice hotel. Located in the heart of Amsterdam, Damm Square. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff at the reception. Many kinds of rooms, pickup what suites your best. Stayed a few times, now. Excellent for shopping the city and sightseeing.

Nice, clean hotel just off Dam Square in Amsterdam. We stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was quiet, room was comfortable but the bed was not to our liking. There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, however free coffee and tea are available at reception as well as several drink and snack machines. There is a small fridge in the room to keep things cold. Staff are friendly and have a good grasp of local attractions etc. Their English is excellent which is a bonus given that my Dutch is minimal. Lighting in the room is a little on the dim side but adequate, given that we were only there to sleep. The usual safe is provided. The bathroom was clean and bright although a bit dated. The price, as all hotels in Amsterdam was a bit high but fair. We will stay there again on our next visit.
Room tip: Add breakfast to your stay. For 15 Eurostar, it's well worth it.

We have stayed 3 different times. The location can’t be beat, right off Dam Square. They have been doing some renovations and this year our room had air conditioning which was very welcomed. Good Standard hotel with a sitting area in each of the rooms we have had, also excellent staff and a yummy breakfast.

The hotel is located in the center of the city near Dam square. This location offers close proximity to the tram, central train station and attractions. However the area is very noisy. The AC system is not turned on until May so you must open a window, directly propagating the noisy of the drunk streets below. Getting any sort of restful sleep is a challenge. The hotel room is clean the rooms are dated the bathroom showers look like prison showers. They charge a premium for the night, however I do not think it’s worth the money they charge.
Room tip: Avoid if you plan on sleeping
