My experience at this hotel was far from pleasant. The biggest issue was the A/C - or there lack off. Even at the lowest setting, the room was miserably hot. The only place in the hotel that seemed to have functional A/C was the lobby.
The room was incredibly small - barely room for our luggage.
I had pre-selected my room on the Hilton app the day before arrival. After a 14 hour journey to Amsterdam, the front desk attendant relayed that our room was not ready but offered a different room. We elected to wait on the selected room. We returned to the hotel 6 hours later as instructed (normal check -in time) and were informed our room was still not ready. We again were offered a different room. We declined again and waited another hour as we were told the room STILL had not been cleaned. After waiting another hour, we were told (again) our room was still not ready. No apology for the inconvenience. No offer of explanation. If I hadn’t pre-paid, I would have sought other accommodations.
One positive - location to Central Station.

Clean room but smallest bathroom I have encountered in a long time. There was alot of construction going on while I was there which made it very crazy. Not a peaceful atmosphere. The lobby was cramped and there were so many people waiting there wasn't enough chairs for everyone. The staff was very friendly though. I was hoping for a room with a view but I looked out over the train tracks . It was close to the train station so we could walk which was nice.

Located next to the central station, this is a large modern hotel within walking distance of everthing. Rooms were modern and well appointed. It has a great rooftop bar with fanastic views over Amsterdam. Service was good. A safe bet in Amsterdam.

The staff was very welcoming and nice from the beginning. I was given an upgrade on a room for being Gold and they let me check in early. Check in was smooth and easy. Room/lobby was very clean. Quiet stay. Most importantly the location is the best. Walking distance to most restaurants and things. Getting from airport and back was easy because central station is a 5 minute walk. And there are other transpiration options available like rail trains

what a terrible hotel. The hotel bar is not accessible for hotel guest because of a private event. This means that there no possibility to have a drink in the hotel that you stay at. They send you to a coffee bar further down the street or you can order room service

Hubby and I have been regular guests of this hotel for the past decade; it's nice to see that it's getting a facelift, and the new decor in the balcony rooms was tastefully done. We were happy to finish each evening in the rooftop bar (we're still used to calling.it the sky lounge) - some absolutely beautiful updates to the menu. Great to see that you can now deserve a slot too, as.bwfore it was so frustrating not to be able to get a table when you were an actual guest at the hotel.

Ivan (? Spanish/Italian) was the kindest and most sweet host at breakfast every morning, and really went out of his way to make our stay a special one,. especially on my birthday morning. Absolutely fantastic ambassador for you Hilton - give that man a bonus!

Only very slight letdown was that when we rang for room service we were told it was soft drinks only - very odd.

Overall absolutely smashing as per usual, we'll be back next year!
