Love this hotel from the minute I arrived - Dulce at reception gave a great checkin and room upgrade to a suite with a magnificent view - ultra modern, ultra quiet, great climate control, nice bar/nightclub on top floor with great view of city. What's not to like? Nothing

"Grandma" here... We stay there often, both as a couple and with adult kids/grandkids. This past week we had 3 rooms for a week and made several changes during that time...Max was our hero in working with us to make sure everything was perfect ...it is employees like Max who make a different in a hotel stay'.

When I first came to this hotel for a longer trip with a friend in 2022 I had a horrible experience that started off with bad info from staff members on rooms. I returned in 2024 for one night due to location next to the station. I spoke to a manager before I arrived to ensure I would at least have working water this time around and they were very kind and upon arrival I found that my room had a very nice note. It was only a one night stay and things worked, staff was pleasant, and the room was nice. I hoping to have an amazing experience upon my return to the hotel later this year. I will write an updated review then, as that stay will be for a week.

The Doubletree is located close to the river cruise port (we actually walked it) and the train station (very quick walk). There is a wonderful little grocery store a few doors down that has great ready made meals. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfy and the staff was so accommodating! It sits on the water and has great views of the city. I highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel for five nights, split between two reservations—one with breakfast included and one without. I asked to swap the breakfast from my last day, when I had an early departure, to another day, but the hotel refused. They offered a breakfast box instead, but it wasn’t ready on time, so I left without eating.
Additionally, the hotel was under construction, which wasn’t disclosed beforehand. There was no lobby, no conference room, and very limited space. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here until these issues are resolved.
